Erasmus Bridge by night from Iona

The air was clear and still this valentines night. Many of the guests on board Iona had turned in for a good night’s sleep.

One curious photographer was taking in the sights of Rotterdam by night looking for the perfect photo.
In the distance as if by cosmic coincidence – a strong orange light began to glow. As the night sky grew clearer so did the light from the orange glow reflecting off the clouds.

Some more of the cruise passengers passed by and commented on the lights – one offering the opinion that it must be a large barn fire in the distance.

One guest mused that it must be the lights from hydroponic farms growing more produce at night.
